介紹musician institute
首先 我係2001-2003 年係mi修讀為期 1年半 3個level既 GIT課程
我當年16歲
我宜家就為大家簡單講解一下
有幾個 Performance Programs
Bachelor of Music in Performance
Associate of Arts in Performance
Certificate in Performance
Non-Certificate Training in Music

係mi 我建議選擇修讀 Associate of Arts in Performance ( 1年半 level 1,2,3)
點解唔好讀Bachelor. 既然你去得音樂少林寺, 你就係想專心係你既樂器上,
如果仲要讀埋d學術科(英文,history,math等)會影響你既練習時間
點解為分3個level, 因為入學前會有audition
audition分 thoery test, ear training 同彈奏test
如果你係想唱歌 應該test 下你既唱歌技考等
test下你既程度 有d人一去到就 level 2 or level 3
所以唔定既, 我渣所以一入就level 1, 但基本上8-9成人都係level 1開始

mi 主要有以下的major
Bass
Guitar
Keyboards
Drums
Voice
Audio Engineering
Independent Artist
Music Business
Guitar Craft (guitar製作)
Music Video, Film and Television Production

另外有一個6日既summer program 不過就唔建議你join
除非你咁岩果段時間去開LA or  你係係usa住

當年係我mum 幫我攪 send email 比佢地mail d 資料比我
銀行匯$ 佢地攪好 寄i-20番黎
之後再申請visa m-1


學費/住宿/食/交通
學費係以一個quarter計 2個半月 之後放2星期
level 1 2個quarter
level 2 2個quarter
level 3 2個quarter
1個quarter學費約數 us3000-3500 (hk24000-29000)
之於住宿方面 學校係冇dome
所以你要出去租屋住
但一到步要落腳又點 你可以一早book定d motel

係機場LAX 有小巴黎hollywood 有指示牌 shuttle 約us25-30
如果坐的士就 us40-50左右
咁你會問一開始點搵, mi 有housing board 好多人會搵分租
所以唔需要擔心
如果唔想同其他人住又點
你要搵agent, 學校周圍好多租屋廣告 放心
我以前就住 1745 n.wilcox  學校隔幾條街
行5-10mins就番到
studio us600-900不等
1bedroom us900-1400不等
租屋要sign lease 1年
如果同人分租就唔一定
同埋有d唔包水電 (要自己打去開 )

銀行
學校迎新日 會有銀行stuff係度幫你開a/c 如果你需要
我諗宜家仲係well fago
周圍都有atm機
well fago銀行係sunset

食
係學校周圍都好多餐廳 日本野, 西餐, 中餐
但餐餐出街食就好貴 所以好多時都自己cook
超級市場係sunset 日落大道 行20mins左右
我當年有車牌所以渣車去遠d既地方 如new chinatown, old chinatown, little toyko等
不過詳細你到時問下d school stuff

交通
有bus, mtr
睇你想去邊 最好自己check清楚
如果你夠16想考車牌, hollywood有driving school or 去chinatown問
考牌要去DMV driving school會幫你安排

MUSIC STORE
係sunset 日落大道  有guitar center, samash, mesa boogie等
你到時問下d frd

租屋 us850 1個月 studio (我當年同人分 我500 因為我要大d地方) 500X3 US1500
水,電,電話,cable tv  約US150 X3 US450
雜費,食 約300 1個月 x3 us900

1個quarter 約us6400左右 hk51200
